Gracie Mae
Gracie Mae was a sweet newborn girl sculpted by the talented Laura Lee Eagles and lovingly brought to life in my nursery. Measuring 18 inches and weighing 7 lbs, she had a peaceful sleeping expression and delicate newborn features. I painted her with Irresistables Heat Set Paints (IRHSP) and sealed her with a matte varnish for lasting protection. Her skin tone was enhanced with soft mottling, veining, and gentle blushing, complete with tiny milk bumps around her nose for added realism. Her baby brown mohair—used for both her rooted hair and lashes—was soft and styleable, and her neatly manicured nails added to her lifelike charm.
Gracie Mae came home with a removable belly plate, a magnetic pacifier, a hospital ankle tag, and a beautifully wrapped welcome home gift. She was weighted with fine glass beads and luxury angle silk fibers for a cuddly, balanced feel. Her arms and head moved freely, though her limbs were not jointed. She was adopted with her Certificate of Authenticity, a birth certificate, and all the love poured into her creation.
